Director Of Operations
FAVORITE TYPES OF FABRICATION PROJECTS:
Unique one-off projects. I like creating custom furniture and working with real wood, hard wood, and reclaimed wood rather than plywood and all the fake stuff. I enjoy doing scenic work a lot – the really immersive stuff. There’s nothing better than having people feel like they’re walking into whatever we’ve built.
A SpaceX event or something like that. Something in the aerospace industry would be killer.
HOBBIES OUTSIDE THE OFFICE:
My main hobby – my first love – is dirtbike riding, specifically off-road enduro-style trail riding. I also have a Harley and I enjoy driving that. Working on both types of bikes consumes a huge amount of my free time.
THOUGHTS ON WHERE THE FABRICATION INDUSTRY IS HEADED:
It’s here to stay. I don’t think robots will take over our jobs. People will always need custom fabrication – you need a human to put the love into these types of jobs. Hard to say which direction the industry is headed in design-wise, but wherever it goes, there will always be a need for it.
